In Deuteronomy 30, Moses sets out a choice.
“I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore, choose life.”
It doesn’t sound like much of a choice, who would willingly choose curses and death? Yet, the need to state the obvious remains even today.
Often in our times, evil masquerades as good and good is presented as evil. It’s actually quite easy to be deceived and to unwittingly choose a course of action that brings death.
That’s where Mother Church comes in. And with her teachings, she guides us through the earthly minefields right to the door of our Father’s House.
Today Jesus has set before you the ability to choose actions that will lead to life and actions that will lead to death.
Which will you choose today?
