Pope John the 23rd called for a new Pentecost in our day, just as the first Pentecost was the foundation for the first missionary impetus of the church.
So, the new Pentecost is the foundation for the new evangelization, the renewed missionary effort of the Body of Christ.
In fact, the New Evangelization cannot happen without a new Pentecost. But, to live a new Pentecost is to play with fire, because Evangelization is about true salvation. It is not about the easy and cultural acceptable path of enrichment.
Our God is a holy and awesome God who requires our holiness and trust only through life in the Holy Spirit.
Can we model the kingdom and be true missionaries?
